Ronnie
Owner /Operator
Ronnie Hairfield stands as a distinguished leader and innovative force within the plumbing repair services industry in Central Virginia, boasting an impressive career that spans over 31years. His journey began in 1994, during his junior year of high school at the Chesterfield Technical Center in Chesterfield, VA, where he ignited his passion for plumbing. By 1996, Ronnie had successfully completed his training, emerging as a certified professional in plumbing and pipe fitting. For the next 14 years, he dedicated himself to new construction plumbing and pipe fitting projects, showcasing his skills and commitment to excellence. In the wake of the market crash in 2008, Ronnie adeptly pivoted to leverage his extensive experience in commercial and service plumbing. His dedication to professional growth culminated in 2016 when he earned his Virginia Master Plumber and Gas Pipe Fitting licenses, along with certifications in pipeline emergency response and awareness for excavator operations, and a Certificate of Merit from the Associated Builders and Contractors’ Virginia chapter. Additionally, Ronnie is well-versed in international fuel gas codes and the fuel gas provisions of the International Residential Code, further solidifying his status as a knowledgeable and trusted expert in the field.
Jennifer
Owner / Manager
Jennifer Hairfield's remarkable journey began at the tender age of 17 when she enlisted in the Virginia Army National Guard, dedicating an impressive eight years of her life to serve her country. Balancing her military duties with a full-time role at a local college, she excelled as a shift supervisor, crime prevention officer, and special events coordinator within the campus security department. Her extensive experience in security paved the way for her to join the Federal Reserve Police as an officer in the 5th District, and in 2014, she transitioned to an access control security specialist role, showcasing her adaptability and expertise. In early 2016, driven by a shared vision of entrepreneurship, Jennifer and her partner Ronnie took a bold step to become their own employers. With a wealth of skills and a passion for service, they embarked on an inspiring journey to realize their version of the “American Dream,” culminating in the establishment of RLH Plumbing Service, where they continue to make a positive impact in their community.

Meet MaKayla, our vibrant Administrative Assistant who joined our team in May 2024. With a rich background in early childhood development, she brings a wealth of experience in managing daily tasks, office operations, and supervisory roles. Her diverse skill set not only enhances our workplace efficiency but also fosters a warm and welcoming environment. Outside of work, MaKayla indulges her creative side through crafting, enjoys the catchy tunes of country and pop music, and loves to unwind with gripping episodes of Grey's Anatomy and thrilling crime shows. We are thrilled to have her on board, adding a delightful touch to our team!

Journeyman Plumbing
Technician
Meet Michael James, our dedicated Journeyman Plumbing Technician, who has been an invaluable member of our team for over five years. His journey in plumbing reached a significant milestone when he completed Level 3 Plumbing in 2022, and he is currently pursuing his Master license to further enhance his skills. As a Navien Tankless Level 3 Certified technician, Michael leads with a commitment to excellence and embodies the spirit of teamwork, always following through on his promises and being there for those in need. Beyond his professional prowess, Michael has a vibrant personality filled with fun facts; he enjoys savoring tacos, immersing himself in music and video games, and rocking out to metal and hardcore tunes. When he's not fixing plumbing issues, you can find him indulging in his favorite shows like Marvel, Star Wars, and The Witcher. He brings humor to the team, sharing his best plumbing joke: "What do plumbers have when they fall asleep? PIPE DREAMS!" Despite the challenges he’s faced, including a memorable experience dealing with a clogged pipe filled with "flushable" baby wipes, Michael remains passionate about his craft. Just a friendly reminder from him: DON’T FLUSH BABY WIPES!
AUSTIN
Journeyman plumbing technician
Meet Austin, our talented Journeyman Plumbing Technician who joined our team in September 2023. With a robust career that kicked off at the age of 18 in electrical and carpentry construction, he has built a solid foundation that seamlessly supports his journey in plumbing. With over four years of experience, Austin began as a Plumbing Apprentice and is currently pursuing his Journeyman's License, having successfully completed Plumbing levels 1-3 at Chesterfield County Tech Center. He specializes in new construction and rough-in plumbing, bringing a fresh perspective to every project he tackles. Austin's eagerness to learn and his innovative approach make him a valuable asset to our team. Outside of work, he's a fan of chicken tenders, enjoys the great outdoors through hunting and fishing, and loves tinkering with vehicles. His musical tastes are as diverse as his interests, with a particular fondness for country music—though he draws the line at opera! When he’s not busy plumbing, you might find him watching Motor trend. And if you’re curious about his most memorable plumbing experience—let’s just say it involved a waste stack and an unexpected flush! Oh NO!

Nick is a dedicated Journeyman plumbing technician who has successfully completed his training at the Chesterfield Tech Center. With a passion for his craft, he brings a wealth of knowledge and skill to every project he undertakes. Beyond his professional pursuits, Nick cherishes the moments spent with his family, finding joy and fulfillment in their shared experiences. His commitment to both his work and loved ones reflects a well-rounded individual who values hard work and the importance of family bonds.

With an impressive career in the plumbing industry that began in 1999, Rob brings a wealth of experience and expertise to our operations. He works closely with our talented technicians, ensuring that every project is executed with precision and care. Beyond his professional commitments, Rob adores his fur baby, adding a delightful personal touch to his already vibrant personality. We're thrilled to have him on board!
Zeagan
Plumbing apprentice
Allow me to introduce you to Zeagan, a remarkable addition to our team who joined us in May 2024. From day one, he has collaborated closely with our talented technicians, absorbing knowledge and skills at an impressive rate. Driven by a desire to pursue a fulfilling trade, Zeagan took the initiative to enroll in Chesterfield Tech School, where he is currently thriving in his second semester. Beyond his professional aspirations, he has a passion for riding ATVs and dedicates time to working on his farm, showcasing not only his love for the outdoors but also his commitment to hard work and hands-on experiences. We are excited to see how Zeagan continues to grow and contribute to our team!

Allow me to introduce Dakota, a bright and ambitious individual who joined our team in May 2024 with a passion for learning a trade. Since then, he has been diligently honing his skills alongside our talented technicians, gaining invaluable hands-on experience. Dakota is currently enrolled in Chesterfield Tech School, where he is flourishing in his second semester. Beyond his professional pursuits, he is a fan of delicious chicken tenders and enjoys the vibrant rhythms of rap music. When he isn’t immersed in his studies or work, Dakota can often be found at the gym, staying active and fit, or cherishing moments with his family.
